Hi, I'm Fabrizio Van Marciano. I'm a freelance web designer, front-end web developer, graphic designer, and content creator at FVM. But more importantly, I'm a fun-loving and proud father of two amazing children, and a devoted husband.
I spend most of my time residing and working in North Devon, the South West of England, in the UK.
I started my entrepreneurial journey back in 2006. Not as a web designer, but as an artist creating and selling original artwork online.
As a self-representing artist, one of the things that frustrated me the most was the lack of tools and resources available for artists.
The internet landscape was a lot different back in 2006. Website building tools were not in abundant as they are today. I decided to invest all my spare time learning how to write code and build a website for myself.
I'm a self-taught web designer and developer. Everything that I know has been acquired through hours and hours of reading books, watching videos, researching, enrolling in web developer courses, collaborating with other designers and developers and learning from them, and of course, through my experience working with my own clients and building up my portfolio.
My first taste in website design came around in 2012 after helping a few friends out with their websites. But, it wasn't until 2014 that I began offering web design services at a professional level and landed my first paying client.
I am a HubSpot Academy Certified Growth-Driven Designer. I have extensive knowledge and experience with a variety of tools and technologies. They include:
The thing that I love the most about being a self-taught web developer is that I get to learn something new each time I take on a new project. Every day is a school day and I enjoy nothing more than further developing my skills.
I'm also a content creator and manage a growing YouTube channel where I love to share website building tips, WordPress-related tutorials, as well as behind the scenes look into my life as a designer, developer, traveler, and family man.
I love to travel with my family to my favorite place on earth, the Canary Islands. Over the years I've had the opportunity to work with new clients based in Gran Canaria and Lanzarote. My design services are available to businesses and individuals in the Canary Islands.
I enjoy bodyboarding, running, and studying Karate to help keep both my mind and body fit and healthy.
Life is not always plane sailing, being a family man, a parent with two young children can be tiring and very stressful. But that's life, and I enjoy every moment of it.

Hello everyone, I'm Samantha Van Marciano, Fabrizio's better half and a proud mum. I'm the designated part-time operations and marketing director here at FVM.
I'm responsible for liaising between ourselves and our clients, as well as strategizing projects, managing, structuring, and executing marketing campaigns, and generally organizing Fabrizio's schedule.
I have been in the commerce/eCommerce industry for over 20 years. I have extensive knowledge of customer service experience and conversion rate marketing. As well as data-driven sales marketing, and eCommerce analytics.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending quality time with my amazing family. I also like to travel, cook, read, and not to mention binge-watch shows on Netflix.
Although my client base is in the UK, US, and the Canary Islands, I've proudly worked with individuals and businesses all over the globe.
I've helped dozens of startups, bloggers, entrepreneurs, and small business owners with their websites, branding, and marketing.
I've also had the incredible opportunity to work with multi-million dollar organizations in a range of industries, including agriculture, health & beauty, food and drink, and hospitality.
I work exclusively with WordPress since I have over 12 years of experience and technical knowledge of this CMS. This includes using a diversity of design and development tools, themes, plugins, and related technologies.
Here are some of the applications I've worked with related directly and indirectly to WordPress.
I believe that just because a design looks great, it doesn't mean it will work or turn your visitors into raving fans or paying customers. This is why I stand by the growth-driven design methodology.
I believe we can help you achieve the growth and success your business deserves, regardless of what industry you're in. I'm here to serve you and can't wait to listen to your ideas about creating a website that will delight, educate, and inspire your visitors.
