OK, so I’ve got something cool and somewhat different to share with you in this post. I’m going to give you a sneak peek behind the scenes, and share my typical working day as a freelance web designer.
If you’ve been following my updates here on this website, or if you’re subscribed to my YouTube channel, I’m sure you know how much I love using videos in my business.
A short while back, I posted a short vlog episode sharing my typical day working on client projects, meeting deadlines, and getting through my schedule and to-do list as a designer and front-end developer.
You can watch the video below, or you can head over to my YouTube channel to check it out here and maybe even hit that subscribe button.
Are you using videos and vlogs to help grow your business?
Just getting back to the subject of creating and using videos. Basically going off-topic. I will always preach about the benefits of harnessing the power of video in marketing to anyone.
According to Invodo, 52% of consumers say that their confidence in purchasing a product after watching a demo video is greatly increased.
I’m seeing more bloggers, entrepreneurs, and small businesses make use of videos to help them increase brand awareness, connect with their audiences, and customers. It’s really great to see.
That said, if you think that your business could benefit from video marketing the right way, then I recommend you start doing some research right away.
Getting past the first hurdle
I know that at first, it can feel daunting and uncomfortable putting yourself in front of the camera and creating videos. But the more you do it, the better you’ll become at it.
I actually cringe when I look back at my first few videos, and while they’re much better today, I’m always trying to improve them.
So, if using video is something you’re still waiting to start learning more about and perhaps incorporating into your business marketing strategy, you’ve got to start now.
Of course, unless you don’t mind leaving money on the table and watching your competition take all the fame and glory.
Make A Start
Right, that’s enough ranting from me. Remember, videos are here to stay for a very long time, so stop wasting time or making excuses for yourself and get on the damn thing.
