Oxygen Builder is a powerful, one-of-a-kind website building toolkit for WordPress. It combines point-click, drag-and-drop editing with the ability to write your own custom code (HTML, CSS, PHP, etc.)

I use Oxygen Builder on around 80% of my client WordPress website design projects and for all of my own personal website projects.

Despite being extremely flexible with unlimited customizability, there is a pretty steep learning curve when it comes to using the platform, I won't lie. It's not for everyone.

That said, yes, there are other user-friendly platforms out there like Elementor, however, from a designer and developer perspective you really can't compare the flexibility and diversity of any other WordPress dev tool with Oxygen right now, there's no real competition... Yet. That's just my opinion.

Global styles options in Oxygen Builder

Oxygen Builder comes with a awesome feature that allows users to predefine some universal styles. These include colors, fonts, links, body text, headings, page width, hover effects, JS, and more.

Check out the video tutorial and walkthrough below for predefining global styles in Oxygen Builder, before starting to build your website.

Why this is so important to do?

For several reasons -

  1. It's good practice as a web designer or website owner to set some global design parameters.
  2. To save yourself an enormous amount of time.

Sure, each page you create might be designed differently, but you're not going to want to spend endless hours customizing headings, font styles, font sizes, colors, links, etc. When you can apply those globally in one place, right?

Right, so, if you're new to Oxygen Builder, you'll definitely find the tutorial below valuable. Enjoy.
