Our website and services terms of service are simple. If you have a question regarding any of the terms set out on this page, please use the contact page form to get in touch with us.

Necessary: Please let me know if you or your business is in the EU. Due to the VAT implications of certain EU countries, I may or may not be able to provide my services to you. I apologize if this causes any inconvenience. I will review this term in the future.

The purpose of the information outlined in this “Terms Of Services” page is to clearly outline how I operate as a freelance web designer and what you can expect when hiring me for my services.

A) What does Fabrizio Van Marciano offer?

I offer bespoke WordPress website design and development, branding design and logo creation, conversion optimization, and website improvements and maintenance.

My services are available to individuals and businesses in the UK, the Canary Islands, and throughout the world. If you or your business is based in the EU, please let me know first.

B) Communication

Due to the nature of my business, communication is critical. To provide the best services, I need to communicate with you using a variety of technology and methods.

When you fill out and submit a pre-consultation form, I will usually respond within 24 hours. Initial contact is done via email only. After my initial communication and presenting my proposal for my project, including the timeframe, and estimation of costs, I can arrange a video meeting.

I mee Skype, Zoom, or Microsoft Meeting Teams for video calls. I prefer to limit video calls to one once per week, often due to my location and my work schedule being quite busy.

I work with clients from all over the world, and sometimes the different time zones can cause a few issues with call scheduling. I am primarily based in the UK but also in The Canary Islands throughout the year. I will try my best to reserve a call time that is convenient for you.

Occasionally, my workload will prevent me from having the available time to communicate via Skype or video calling. In such instances, I can resume communication via email or online chat.

C) Project Management

I mee ClickUp to organize and manage my client projects. Once we’re ready to move into the design phases, I will create a new project board and invite you as a guest to the board to view the progress of your project.

D) Fees, deposits, payments, and deadlines

Payments can be processed in the following currencies

Below you will find a list of the fees for each of the services I provide through this website.

Skype Video Call – (1 hour per week depending on availability – included in project cost)
WordPress/website maintenance – €50 per hour
Growth-Driven WordPress web Design – €60 per hour
Graphic Design, Logo Design – €40 per hour
Product/Branding Design – €40 per hour

After my initial strategy meeting video call, I will put together a GDD retainer quote and non-disclosure contract in PDF format, tailored to your needs for you to review. I can always discuss any parts of the agreement before you sign it and return it to me.

E) Payment structure

Any quotes provided are estimates only. Any additional work required to complete your project is both negotiable and changeable.

If your design project falls under €1,500 (25 hours), we require full payment before any work commences. You can send your payment along with your signed contract and non-disclosure agreement.

If your design project estimate is above $1,500, a 50% deposit with your signed contract and non-disclosure agreement is required.

Here is a simple cost and time breakdown of structuring a GDD contract (Example only):

Meeting with the client for a 1-hour meeting after pre-consultation and agreement to work together. The web design estimated quote is €6,000 for an eCommerce website with 10 unique products each with 3 variations (100 hours). The client signs the contract and agrees to pay a deposit of 50% (€3,000).

Total initial hours of work completed: 112 hours over 60 days. The client is presented with a launch pad website ready to go live. The client pays the remaining 50% plus 12 additional hours of work. Total final payment for the second phase: €3,720.

Launchpad website goes live and I move into the continuous improvement phase of the design. The client agrees to the additional and optional six-month term for website improvements, growth, and maintenance at €150 per month. (€900)

After six months, the website is finished, driving traffic and converting into leads and sales. Total costs for the project: €7,620

At this stage, the client can choose to take out an additional 6 or 12-month continued improvement and maintenance package.

F) Availability and turnaround time

To retain my sanity, I usually do not work on any more than 2 individual projects at any one time.

If you have a deadline to meet, please make sure you select this in the pre-consultation form. While I do consider deadlines, my focus is on producing deliverables for you that will help drive results and promote the growth of your business.

The turnaround time for a launchpad website from start to finish depends greatly on the scope of work required for the project. However, I aim to have a website ready for launching and testing between 60 and 90 days from my initial strategy meeting. For larger projects, including eCommerce sites, this can take up to 120 days.

G) Refunds

Due to the nature of the services I provide, refunds are not available at any time. Refunds are available on our premium content only, subject to terms and conditions.

H) Non-payment and outstanding Invoices

I am here to help you in any way I can, which is why I believe in having good communication with my customers.

If, for any reason, you are unable to make a payment on your account or pay the final deposit, please let me know.

I can work together and create an affordable repayment plan that will work for both of us. As a business owner, I understand that sometimes it can be difficult, especially in this current economic climate, so never be afraid to reach out to me. I design websites, but I’m also a caring and understanding human being 🙂

3. Account Creation

When you purchase a membership plan and create an account with this website, you must provide accurate information. Failure to do so constitutes a violation of my terms, which may result in the direct termination of your account and my services.

2. Passwords

You are accountable for protecting the password that you use to access your membership and course content (hosted on domain extension) during all activities taken on this site.

You agree not to disclose your password to any third party. You must notify me immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized access to your account.

3. Refunds

Refunds are provided as long as 1) You’ve had your subscription plan for less than 14 days. Any membership continuing over this period will not be refunded unless you have submitted your request for a refund within 14 days. 2) I cannot provide a solution to your problem. I am here to assist you which is why I offer support with memberships, so please submit a request for project support first, so that I have a chance to help you. If I’m unable to provide a solution and I believe the membership is not suitable for you, I will issue you a full refund.

4. Account Sharing

Under no circumstance can you share your membership, or content, including login credentials with any third party outside of your organization. Such activities constitute a violation of my terms, which may result in the direct termination of your account of my services.

5. Cancelling your Membership

You can cancel your membership at any time. Simply email me to advise that you would like to cancel and I’ll do this for you without question. Important information regarding refunds after the 14 days. I do not provide a refund for canceled memberships outside the 14-day cooling-off period. However, for annual memberships, you will still have full access to your account until your membership expires. Lifetime memberships cannot be canceled or refunded after the 14-day guarantee period.
