If you have a business based in the Canary Islands, we should work together! Here are just a few reasons why I'm looking to work with businesses in the Canary Islands.
Although I'm a freelance web designer and front-end developer based in the UK, I actually provide my services to customers worldwide.
The US, UK, and India have always been where I've connected with most of my clients, however, I'm now actively seeking to serve customers (entrepreneurs and small businesses) in the Canary Islands (Lanzarote, Gran Canaria, Tenerife, and Fuerteventura).
I absolutely adore the Canary Islands - The culture, food, lifestyle, and most of all, the all year round warm climate. I consider Gran Canaria to be my second home.
We visit this beautiful Island twice each year (Myself and the family) and have done so since 2010. In addition, I'm also scrubbing up on my Spanish.
Our family #10yearchallenge is to buy a home in Gran Canaria and move there permanently. At least, that's our long term ambition.
Why hire me if your business is based in the Canary Islands?
Over the recent years, I have done some research and noticed that there isn't a lack of quality freelance web designers in the Canary Islands, however, there seems to be a lack of designers and front-end developers that specialize in building high-end WordPress websites.
My attention is on WordPress and conversion-focused design. I prefer the WordPress platform over any other website building tool or software, like Wix or Webflow, because WordPress is widely used, it's simple to manage, and it's extremely flexible.
So, while there might be plenty of businesses in the Canary Islands that are doing quite well without much of an online presence or a mediocre website, I honestly feel strong about building a customer base and helping businesses achieve further growth and success online through smart web design and inbound marketing.
Spoken and coding languages
Asides from the programming languages that I'm able to write code in, English is my first language, and my aim is to make Spanish my second language.
And if you are a local business owner in the Canary Islands and just reading all of the above sounds like complete jargon, don't worry! I'm here to simplify everything and help you make sense of it all.
Types of businesses I would like to work with in the Canary Islands
I've shared this statistic so many times before, but here it is again -
An astonishing 97% of folks searched online for a local business?
This means if your local business isn't searchable or reachable online, you could be missing out on bigger opportunities to really grow and expand your customer base.
Let's say, for example, you run a local restaurant in Player Blanca, Lanzarote. A small business website would definitely allow you to -
- Inform your customers on how to find your restaurant.
- Showcase your menu.
- Provide reviews from past customers who have enjoyed dining at your restaurant.
- Allow customers to reserve a table online.
- Promote special events and offers.
- Promote the growth and success of your restaurant business.
So, if you run a small business in the Canary Islands, whether you manage a local restaurant, hotel, holiday villa, car hire company, or a simple gift shop, I'd love to hear from you with your creative design and marketing ideas.
Don't forget to check out my portfolio page, I will be adding some new completed project websites to the portfolio soon, just to show the types of websites I can create for your business.
