If you’re an entrepreneur or have a small business based in the Canary Islands, we should work together! Here are just a few reasons why I’m looking to work with businesses in the Canary Islands.
Although I’m a freelance web designer and front-end developer based in the UK, I provide my services to customers worldwide.
Over the years, I’ve worked mainly with clients from the US, Europe, and the UK. However, I’m now actively seeking to serve customers (entrepreneurs and small businesses) ideally in the Canary Islands (Lanzarote, Gran Canaria, Tenerife, Fuerteventura, La Palma, La Gomera).
I absolutely adore the Canary Islands – The culture, the friendly people, the vibe, food, lifestyle, and most of all, the all-year-round warm climate. I consider Gran Canaria to be my second home.
I and my family visit these beautiful Islands twice each year and have done so since 2010. I can speak a little Spanish, but I’m still learning.
Our family #10yeargoal is to move to Gran Canaria from the UK. Oh, the date we have in mind is 2030.
So, why hire me if your business is based in the Canary Islands?
As a freelance web designer, content creator, and digital marketer, I can work anywhere in the world.
But moreover, I’m a certified and competent designer and front-end developer working with WordPress. So when it comes to building an affordable, manageable, and scalable website for any business, this is where I can help.
While there might be plenty of great businesses in the Canary Islands that present themselves well without an online presence, I honestly feel strong about building a customer base and helping local businesses achieve new growth and success through smart web design and digital marketing.
Types of businesses I would like to work with in the Canary Islands
I’ve shared this statistic so many times before, but here it is again –
An astonishing 97% of people searched online for a local business?
What does this mean?
This means if your local business isn’t searchable or reachable online, you could be missing out on larger opportunities to grow and expand your customer base.
Let’s say, for example, you are opening a new restaurant in Player Blanca, in Lanzarote. A small business website would positively allow you to –
- Tell your story…
- Inform your customers on how to find your restaurant.
- Showcase your menu.
- Provide reviews from past customers who have enjoyed dining at your restaurant.
- Allow customers to reserve a table online.
- Promote special events and offers.
- Grow your email list.
- Promote the growth and success of your restaurant business.
A website works 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to promote your business. It will never sleep or take a day off! But more importantly, a website is one of the most cost-effective ways to increase awareness about your brand and grow your business.
Here are the types of websites that I can build for businesses based in the Canary Islands –
- Restaurant information and booking websites
- Holiday homes and villa booking websites
- Health and beauty clubs and spa websites
- Food and drink, small produce websites
- Online shops, gift shops, ecommerce websites
- Art galleries
- Tourist information websites, and more
Spoken and coding languages
Asides from the programming languages that I’m able to code in, English is my first language, and my aim is to make Spanish my second language.
