We are looking for genuine writers who are honest experts in their fields for the following categories: web design, web development, WordPress hacks, web hosting, and online business (selling tools, online platforms, productivity apps for devs, freelancers, etc.)
Welcome to our guidelines page for guest writers. Here are what’s included on this page –
What we’re looking for?
100% Unique content only – We’re interested in guest content that is 100% unique, authentic, and, needless to say, original.
This means you must only submit a written piece of content that has not been published elsewhere in any form. We will also NOT consider articles similar to others found on the web (rehashed content, re-spun content, reworded, retitled). Repurposed content is allowed, however. For example, an in-depth video tutorial was converted into a well-formatted blog post.
Informative content only – We give immense attention to guest content that is informative, educational, and actionable. A detailed ‘Strategy Guide,’ ‘How To Tutorial…’ or ‘Expert Roundup’ post would be a perfect example of this. We are not interested in 700 words long, mediocre list posts.
Data-driven content – We love articles that contain relevant data and interesting statistics! If possible, please include a few in your content to reinforce any theories and claims you are making. Just make sure that your data and stats are from reliable and credible sources, up to date, and that you add the source URL.
100% content relevancy – This should go without saying – The topic of your guest post must be 100% relevant to our reader’s interests and fully aligned with the nature of our website. See the categories mentioned above.
No generic advice please – Guest posts must offer a little more than just abstract and basic, obvious tips, which is why we only consider guest content from REAL industry leaders and niche-specific bloggers and not from general writers. For example, if you write about social media and online business and also health and beauty, we’re not interested.
Visuals in guest posts – Guest posts must contain a minimum of 2 pieces of visual content (images, graphics, screenshots, etc.). If you use any kind of free or paid stock images, just make sure you customize them to be visually interesting to our readers.
Minimum word count – Your guest post must exceed the minimum word count of 2,150 words. At this time, we will not consider or accept guest posts with less than this amount. We turn down many guest posts that unfortunately ignore this requirement. If your post is only 50 or 100 words less than the amount required, we will consider your submission. But any less than this will automatically be declined.
Minimal promotional content – Guest posts must contain ‘very little’ self-promotional content; this is very important. You are welcome to link to one of your blog articles for resource or reference purposes, for instance, linking to a case study or report; however, it must be 100% aligned with your post’s topic.
Smart Outbound Linking (Policy) – Guest articles must contain a minimum of 4 resourceful links to relevant and authoritative content from credible and reliable sources. (e.g., linking to an article or reference on Smashing Magazine, Awwwards Blog, CSS Tricks, UX Magazine, Creative Bloq. As well as on HubSpot, Neil Patel, Business Insider, MOZ, Mashable, Wired, The Guardian, Convince And Convert, KISSmetrics, ConversionXL, Unbounce, or any other authoritative blog in a similar industry to ours.)

Linking policy
Important information about linking to client websites and affiliate links: Please DO NOT link to your company website (unless it is as relevant and authoritative as the websites mentioned above). Do not link to your client’s website/blog in the guest post content or author bio. These will be stripped away immediately. We’re used to recognizing spammy-looking, third-party, anchor text link manipulation, so please don’t do it.
Additionally, links to irrelevant sites are forbidden in guest posts or the author bio.
We will especially NOT tolerate links to personal or client company websites/blogs in the following industries: ’Essay Writing,’ ‘eLearning,’ ‘Resume Writing Services,’ ‘General Writing Services,’ ‘Real Estate,’ ‘Law,’ ‘Health & Medicine,’ ‘Construction,’ ‘Finance’ ‘Adult & Dating.’ You can see how those websites are NOT related to our website/ blog/ niche and content. Your affiliate links are also NOT permitted in guest posts.
OK, so what is permitted? You are permitted to add 1 (one) link to 1 (one) social media profile of your choice. And 1 (one) link to your business or personal brand website or personal blog in the author bio only. The link to your website or blog can be a do-follow link, as long as it’s aligned with our website’s niche and carries a reasonable amount of authority.
Nofollow link policy: All other external links in guest post content and author bio carry a no-follow attribute. Please DO NOT use or manipulate anchor text/keyword links in your bio to link to your website/blog. We recommend linking using naked URLs only or a logical Call-to-Action, I.e., ‘Read our blog,’ ‘Learn more about us,’ or ‘Visit our website.’
Sponsored content and promotional media
Currently, we are not accepting sponsored content on Fabrizio Van Marciano Dot Com. We will review this again in March 2024.
